Abstract

Penyakit bercak daun Phyllosticta mengakibatkan kerusakan daun yang dapat mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil tanaman jahe. Usaha pengendalian yang telah dilakukan oleh petani belum memberikan hasil yang maksimal, sehingga dibutuhkan teknik pengendalian yang lebih efektif dengan memadukan aplikasi pupuk daun dan fungisida. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dosis pupuk daun fungisida yang efektif untuk pengendalian penyakit bercak daun dan hasil pada tanaman jahe. Penyakit bercak daun yang disebabkan oleh jamur Phyllosticta zingiberi merupakan faktor penghambat produktivitas tanaman jahe. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Argodadi, Kecamatan Sedayu, Kabupaten Bantul, DIY dengan menggunakan rancangan faktorial yang disusun dalam rancangan acak kelompok lengkap terdiri 2 faktor yaitu dosis fungisida tembaga dan dosis pupuk daun dengan 3 level takaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aplikasi 3 g/L fungisida efektif menurunkan intensitas serangan dan persentase tanaman terserang penyakit bercak daun masing masing sebesar 56,03 dan 65,90%. Sedangkan kombinasi perlakuan 3 g/L fungisida dan 5 ml/l pupuk daun mampu meningkatkan produktivitas rimpang jahe segar.

Abstract

Permintaan pasar terhadap produk sayuran segar belum dapat dipenuhi oleh PT Mulia Bintang Utama karena belum optimalnya produksi sayuran Penyebabnya adalah banyak petani yang belum menerapkan teknologi produksi sayuran yang direkomendasikan perusahaan dalam kegiatan budidaya. Pengkajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan teknologi produksi sayuran yang dikembangkan perusahaan dan tingkat penerapan oleh petani mitra, manfaat dan kendala penerapan teknologi produksi sayuran, serta menyusun strategi penerapan teknologi produksi sayuran. Responden penelitian adalah pengelola dan mitra usaha perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan tabulasi dan analisis R/C rasio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat ini hanya 45% petani mitra yang sudah menerapkan teknologi produksi sayuran karena kendala petani dalam ketersediaan modal, ketakutan menerapkan teknologi baru, dan keterbatasan pengetahuan serta informasi. Strategi yang bisa diterapkan perusahaan agar petani mau menerapkan teknologi produksi sayuran adalah memberikan pinjaman modal, memaksimalkan pembinaan petani mitra, dan pembuatan demplot. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa budidaya sayuran dengan penerapan teknologi produksi sayuran perusahaan berpeluang meningkatkan penerimaan petani mitra dan perusahaan.

Abstract

Rhinosinusitis is an inflammation of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses, accompanied by two or more symptoms, one of which is nasal blockage/obstruction/congestion) or nasal discharge (anterior/posterior nasal drip). Anamnesis, recording of signals, clinical examination, laboratory examination (complete hematological examination and Gram staining of mucopurulent nasal secretions) and Sinar–X were performed on Nobel kangaroo. Regarding the anamnesis and physical/clinical examination, the Nobel kangaroo in Australiana Zone TSI II was seen to have mucopurulent secretions on its nose and decreased activity. After hematological examination of the blood, Gram staining of mucopurulent nasal secretion bacteria, and supporting examinations in sinar–X examination, the Nobel kangaroo was diagnosed with rhinosinusitis caused by a bacterial infection. The prognosis for this case is Fausta – dubious. Fausta with treatment, dubious if no rhinosinusitis surgery is done. Handling/therapy is administered by antibiotic therapy, nebulizer/steam therapy, multivitamins, and multi-minerals were given orally and inhalation.

Abstract

Edamame soybeans have a higher productivity potential than ordinary soybeans. Edamame can be an alternative to meet the national demand for soybeans which have a high level of consumption. This research aims to determine the effect of spacing and paclobutrazol on the growth and productivity of edamame soybeans. The study was conducted in Sukarame Village, Caringin, Garut Regency and the Laboratory of Agroecotechnology Study Program, Universitas Trilogi from March to June 2022. The study used a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The first factor is the spacing consisting of J1 = 30 cm x 25 cm, J2 = 30 cm x 20 cm, J3 = 30 cm x 15 cm, and J4 = 30 cm x 10 cm. The second factor was the paclobutrazol concentration consisting of P0 = without paclobutrazol (control), P1 = 100 ppm. The results was no interaction between the spacing treatment and the paclobutrazol concentration. Based on the first factor, the results were significantly different on the plant height in the third week of treatment spacing of 30 cm x 10 cm and weight of 100 seeds from spacing of 30 cm x 15 cm). The paclobutrazol factor had significantly different results in plant height and number of pods with the best results without paclobutrazol treatment.

Abstract

Banjarwaringin Village in Salopa District, Tasikmalaya Regency has potential for goat farming as community farming. The study aims to examine the effect off Indigofera as a diet of sheep on body weight gain in Salopa District, Tasikmalaya. The method used was a completely randomized design method with 6 male goats as samples which were divided into 3 treatment groups and 2 replications. The design of the applied study that will be carried out is P0 with control, P1 with 1% Indigofera and P2 with 2% Indigofera. Business analysis using business analysis B/C ratio, R/C ratio, production BEP and price BEP. Sampling of body weight and the same age. The variables observed included PBHH of goats. F test with the SPSS version 15 analysis tool. The results showed that there was a significant difference in ADG P0 61.00 ± 2.828 (a), P1 101.00 ± 1.414 (c), P2 76.00 ± 5.567 (b). The results of the business analysis showed an increase in farmer's income of IDR 258,359 in the treatment with Indigofera, and the value of the R/C ratio was 1.09.

Abstract

Gembili tuber is one of the local foods of the Papuan people and has the potential to be developed into derivative products. Gembili tubers need to be made into flour before being processed further. Drying in the flouring process is a crucial stage because it determines the quality of the gembili flour produced. The drying temperature of gembili chips that is less than optimal will result in low flour quality. The purpose of this study was to obtain the optimal temperature and drying time for gembili chips. The method used in this research is the experimental method. Gembili chips were dried at 60oC, 70oC, and 80oC. Each drying temperature was 6, 8, and 10 hours with three replications. Gembili chips were milled using a blender at 1800 rpm. Drying is done mechanically using an electric oven. Sifting using tyler size 70 mesh. Testing the quality of gembili flour fineness modulus, yield, whiteness degree, and water content. Study results, namely the temperature and drying time of gembili chips affect the quality of gembili flour produced. The best gembili flour based on the perangkingan method was obtained from variations in the drying treatment at 60oC with a drying time of 10 hours for gembili chips. The characteristics of gembili flour in the best treatment were as follows: water content of 1,29%, whiteness degree of 87,10%, fineness modulus of 0,35, and yield of 20,20%.

Abstract

Availability of meat and egg among rural communities comes from native chickens. However, the productivity of native chickens is still relatively low. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of in ovo feed of glutamine on hatchability and hatching weight of native chicken egg. As many 300 fertile eggs used, which were injected with glutamine at day 7 of incubation period. The research was arranged as a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 5 treatments, 3 replications. As for the treatments consisted of P0 (negative control); P1 (injected 0,5 ml 0,9% NaCl); P2 (injected 0,5 ml 0,5% glutamine in 0,9% NaCl); P3 (injected 0,5 ml 1,0% glutamine in 0,9% NaCl); P4 (injected 0,5 ml 1,5% glutamine in 0,9% NaCl). The results indicated that hatchability of the eggs fed in ovo by 0,9% NaCl (P1) and 0,5% glutamine (P2) were higher compared to the control and the other treatments. Thus, in ovo feed of glutamine on the 7thday of incubation resulted in higher hatchability with the injection of NaCl without glutamine and the hatching weight tended to bee higher at the level of 1,5%.
